Deciphering the Story of the Stars The Celestial Tarot follows the traditional structure of the Tarot, but is also grounded in astrological, astronomical, and mythological traditions. The 22 cards of the Major Arcana are represented by the 12 zodiacal constellations and the 10 planets of modern astrology, while the Minor Arcana depicts the "extra-zodiacal" constellations. On the court cards, the princess represents each season, and the prince, queen, and king represent the fixed, changing, and fundamental signs of each element. The artwork is dreamy and detailed, using gold, white, lilac, blue, and green against a dark-toned background. There are 78 cards in total, 22 cards called the Major Arcana and 56 cards called the Minor Arcana. The back of the card is indistinguishable between normal and reverse positions. The case is a caramel box type.
