The CAG-300HS, a small grand auditorium body that is popular among fingerpickers, features an AA grade solid Sitka spruce top, which has been heated in a vacuum while still in the wood state to remove excess moisture and minerals, and mahogany for the sides and back.
The top bracing uses forward X bracing, which is designed taking into account the shape of the sound hole and the size of the body to maximize resonance.
