Pass Prover Trout Rod Series for Enjoying "Setting and Catching"
A specialty series that clarifies the required elements and lures to be used, and incorporates the necessary characteristics into each item, based on the concept of "setting and catching" for the target trout.
It will be a reliable partner for anglers who continue to challenge themselves in the diversifying trout fishing.
The use of a blank that converges quickly allows for accurate casting with little shaking and detailed lure control.
Each model features a tip that bites well, a sharp belly section, and a hard butt.
By increasing the butt diameter and designing the blank to be somewhat high-tapered, the weight is reduced, and while the rod has an overall firmness, it also has the characteristic of bending when loaded.
It is designed to be used with not only the line system that uses knots with PE lines, which are becoming mainstream, but also with monofilament nylon lines, and adopts a guide size that prioritizes the feel of use in the field and allows for good line and knot removal.
The series is designed to be lightweight, sharp, and stable, making it ideal for embodying the idea of "setting the trap and catching."
Each model has a sub-name, named after the technique they are good at, the expected target, or the fishing spot.
This series is dedicated to all anglers who have respect and passion for the trout tribe and enjoy the depths of trout fishing.
Pasproofer PRV411SL-4 "Balsa Connect"
Length: 4'11" Lure: 2-6g Line: 3-6lb PeMax:#0.8
A special model that pursues the feel of using a mountain stream balsa minnow.
There are many types of mountain stream balsa minnows, and many anglers probably imagine a lightweight one of ~3g.
This model is not designed for use with lightweight balsa minnows, but rather pursues the feel of using a 50mm 3-5g balsa sinking minnow, which has become mainstream recently.
We asked three manufacturers, Reis Lure Craft, STAYGOLD, and Masumoku (titles omitted, in no particular order), which develop products centered on balsa sinking minnows, to help us develop this specialty model.
In order to accommodate a wide range of situations, from headwaters to rural rivers, where 50mm class balsa sinking minnows are expected to be used, we have adopted a versatile 4-foot 11-inch length and highly portable 4-piece.
The best line setting is 0.4-0.6 PE line. When used with a shock leader, use a 3-5lb nylon line.
The blank is sharp and firm, but when loaded, it bends flexibly, making it possible to present balsa minnows, which have low specific gravity and are difficult to cast, to the target point even with a compact casting motion.
The guides near the top are slightly large, but the weight of the guides helps bend the blank while eliminating the poor line slip-out that tends to be a bottleneck when casting low-specific gravity balsa minnows.
When working with the rod, the sharp and firm blank helps with light operation and closely follows the movement of the balsa minnow, which recovers quickly.
It is the perfect partner when connecting with beautiful mountain stream fish through your favorite balsa minnow.
