Beware of imitation products: We have received complaints from customers who have mistakenly purchased products that use the image of Towel Laboratory to develop a series. Please make sure to check the name Towel Laboratory carefully before purchasing.
[Quick-drying ≠ Thin] Until now, towels that were designed to be absorbent and quick-drying were generally made of polyester, which has a unique clingy feel to the skin, or were thin, so high absorbency and quick-drying properties could not be achieved without sacrificing something. Therefore, we at the Towel Research Institute aimed to improve the original technology of towels, and wanted to deliver to consumers towels that are absorbent and quick-drying while maintaining the unique texture of a soft towel, so we developed this [Speed Dry 3D] #009 series, which is different from conventional products.
[Quick-drying yet fluffy volume] In order to achieve a soft touch and volume, we used our advanced technology and, in a joint project with Toray, developed a special composite spun yarn called "3D yarn" that wraps cotton around a polyester core yarn. By using this 3D structured yarn, we succeeded in clearing a high hurdle. This yarn has a fluffy pile structure, which gives it a volume that was not possible with conventional quick-drying towels, and the part that directly touches the skin has a soft, fluffy feel of cotton. In addition, towels made with this yarn do not easily lose fuzz even after repeated washing, so you can enjoy the gentle feel for a long time.
[Benefits of volume and quick drying] By using polyester for the core thread, we have achieved overwhelming quick drying. The drying time is an amazing speed of about 2/3 of that of conventional 100% cotton towels. It is also recommended for drying indoors during the rainy season and winter when laundry is difficult to dry, and when pollen and yellow sand are a concern. In addition, when using a dryer, it leads to about 30% reduction in electricity, making it a towel that is kind to both the environment and the home.
[Japan Technology] Towel Laboratory products are produced in Japan by Japanese engineers who conduct technical research. They are produced in carefully selected overseas factories with the most advanced manufacturing technology and production efficiency, and although they are not MADE IN JAPAN, but MADE IN CHINA, they are produced under the technical guidance of Japanese engineers.
