We offer four color patterns: red and black, black and gray, white and silver, and purple and lavender.
This is a reversible obi that can be worn on both sides, allowing for a wide range of coordination options with kimonos and yukatas.
The look changes depending on how you tie it, and it is recommended for casual wear such as komon, tsumugi, and yukata.
Since ancient times, there has been a custom of giving long items such as obi as gifts to ward off evil spirits.
Obi are not only perfect for your own use, but also make a great gift for someone special.
~Kiryu is Japan's manufacturing center~
Kiryu, located in the southeastern part of Gunma Prefecture, has been famous as a textile production area since the Nara period, 1,300 years ago.
It is a major textile production area, known as "Nishijin in the West, Kiryu in the East," and is particularly known for producing a large amount of obi fabric and patterned kimono.
Historic buildings such as sawtooth-roof textile mills still remain.
