[The long-awaited release of Beethoven: Complete Piano Sonatas, which garnered rave reviews digitally, is finally here!]
Boris Giltburg has become one of the world's leading pianists. His keen sensitivity, insightful and persuasive interpretations, and passionate approach have earned him acclaim. Giltburg himself writes in the master recording commentary (in English) that this project, "Recording the Complete Piano Sonatas," commemorating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's death, is a personal adventure born out of respect for the composer.
From the vibrant energy of his early sonatas, the passion and lyricism of his mid-period works, to the reverence for the transcendent in his later sonatas, Giltburg expresses the full range of human emotion. This magnificent cycle has been completed.
*The Japanese edition includes a Japanese commentary by Yudai Mashima.
