Product Introduction
This 1/35-scale replica of the British Archer anti-tank self-propelled gun is a 191mm long vehicle, based on meticulous research conducted at the Bovington Tank Museum.
While using Valentine suspension parts, the extended hull shape is faithfully recreated, just like the actual vehicle.
While the Valentine makes extensive use of rivets, the Archer is a welded construction.
The kit also realistically reproduces the welding patterns at the armor plate joints.
The impressive style of the long-barreled 17-pounder main gun and its breech section are rendered in intricate detail.
The open-top fighting compartment is also a highlight, with a variety of equipment such as ammunition racks and radios.
Three full-body figures are included: a commander monitoring the surroundings outside the vehicle, a gunner scanning the target from inside the vehicle, and a loader holding ammunition and preparing to load.
Two types of markings are available: the Canadian 3rd Infantry Division and the British Polish II Corps.
The recommended main painting color is "85002 TS-2 Dark Green."
