This rod is designed specifically for smelt fishing, featuring a flat glass tip, suitable for dome boat and ice fishing. The original mounting system allows you to replace the tip with any 5mm diameter tip. The innovatively designed skeleton grip also helps protect the tip during storage.
To use, simply remove the tip from the grip and attach it upside down. The included tip is a highly sensitive flat glass solid.
Two action options are available: SSS action and S action. The counter comes with a spooled baitcasting reel with a shelf counter. The spinning reel comes with a small spooled spinning reel. Suitable for dome boat, ice fishing, pier fishing, and more.
We recommend replacing tips up to 21cm long. Tips longer than this cannot be stored in the grip.
The mount is designed to be stiff. If it is difficult to remove, wrap a cloth around it and then grab the plastic base with pliers to remove it.
