2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The SSh-60 was the last and most commonly used working helmet used by the Soviet Union during World War II.The only external difference between the SSh-39 and SSh-60 was the six rivets near the bottom of the helmet, as opposed to the three rivets near the top of the SSh-39 shell. The SSh-60's rivet arrangement is due to the new liner, which is simpler and more robust than previous versions. The liner consists of three (four post-war) cloth or oil cloth pads connected by cotton string for size adjustment. The chinstrap is made of fabric and is connected by tabs to D-rings on each side of the shell. The ends of the chin strap are connected with a slip buckle, and a semi-circular piece of metal is clamped to the end of the long chin strap.Unlike the M-36 and SSh-39, the SSh-60 was produced in only three sizes: 1-3.This is a new item from storage.Products from storage - goods stored in warehouses of the Russian military and the USSR for 30 to 60 years. There may be storage tracks in the form of stains, discoloration, small cuts, etc.Production: 1950-1980
