The prototypes are the V42 (4-car set) and W33 (8-car set) trains belonging to the Aboshi General Rolling Stock Depot in 2020. The front end and skirt shape of the car body are accurately reproduced. The different paint finishes on the front window frames are also reproduced. The wipers installed on the through door windows are also reproduced.
Accurately reproduced details such as the step under the crew door and toilet tank. The front fall prevention guard is reproduced as a separate part. The use of a slotless motor realizes even smoother and quieter running performance.
The 4-car set does not have traction tires, allowing for coupled operation. All couplings use body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks). A single-stage electric coupler that can be attached to the coupler at the front of the leading car is included. The type and destination signs on the side are reproduced in plain black.
