The 16th expansion for the deck-building game Dominion.
Dominion: Rising Sun is set in a world inspired by Japan and the Far East, and features the contributions of several Japanese illustrators.
It contains 300 cards and includes 25 new kingdom cards.
New cards include Shadow cards that pop out of the deck and Prophecies that will one day change everything.
Also returning are Debt and Event cards from previous expansions.
We are now traveling to the Eastern Islands (or Western Islands, if you prefer).
Your title here is Emperor. They say you're only Emperor in name, but you can still order your favorite breakfast.
They might be right.
Your ceremonial sword and armor are made of paper.
Samurai don't invite you to tea ceremonies, and ninjas always tie your right and left shoes together with shoelaces.
And the epic poem they wrote about you only has 17 syllables.
Rice is the currency, and no one seems to be trying to paint your face on a grain of rice.
But every morning, when I wake up and look out over the land, life doesn't seem so bad.
So, what should I have for breakfast?
