This fully assembled electric RC 4WD buggy can be driven anywhere, from on-road to off-road. The Dual Ridge is named after its "dual-purpose" design, which allows for nimble driving both on and off-road, and because its distinctive pillar shape evokes the image of a ridge cutting through the air. The forward-facing cockpit and futuristic form, composed of smooth surfaces, was designed by pdc_designworks, a company that handles a variety of product designs. Combined with the sharply shaped rear wing, it exudes high aerodynamic performance. The body design was handled by pdc_designworks, headed by Takayuki Yamazaki, a designer at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. who has worked on a variety of hit products. The chassis is the TT-02B, a shaft-driven 4WD buggy chassis. The bathtub-type main frame has a boat-shaped bottom that provides excellent skidding. The suspension is a four-wheel double wishbone with long arms and CVA dampers, allowing the car to easily traverse rough terrain. The front and rear sealed gear cases are equipped with 4-bevel resin differential gears for smooth cornering. Also included are receiver and motor covers to prevent dust and other particles from entering, essential for off-road driving, enhancing driving reliability.
