This faithful reproduction of the Honda S2000 (AP1) sports car, designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., is a faithful reproduction of the 1999 2-liter AP1, the first phase of the S2000, which was produced over a 10-year period.
To create the prototype, the 1999 car was 3D scanned and the data collected was used to design the prototype.
As it is a convertible, replicating the exposed interior was also a key point. The interior of the actual car was thoroughly 3D scanned, and the size and detail of each part were taken into consideration when designing the prototype.
The top comes with parts that allow you to enjoy two different views: closed with the top up, and open with the tonneau cover in place.
