★Interest Color Series★: Introducing a stylish red! The 4L size is perfect for mini tarps! ⛺ Approx. Size: 200 x 200 cm / 1620 g Fabric: Japanese-made lightweight canvas (manufactured to JIS L3102 standards) (Paraffin-treated for strong water repellency) Sewing: Made in Iwate [MADE IN IWATE] ● This "Third Generation Survive Sheet" is a rugged and tough product, designed, developed, and produced in Japan from high-quality lightweight (thin) canvas to paraffin treatment and finishing. Its durability and water repellency are designed specifically for a wide range of uses, including leisure, outdoor activities, and camping. Its exceptional lightness makes it ideal for hiking camping. Just hold it in your hand and you'll feel the confidence of a Japanese-made product. *The 3L and 4L sizes feature a fabric splice. *A vintage finish (wrinkle chalk marks) adds a used look right from the moment you receive it. *While it's water-repellent, it's not waterproof, so water may seep in under pressure.
⛺Feature 1: Made in Japan. Fabric is produced domestically in accordance with JIS standard L3102. The third-generation Survive Sheet, made with a specially crafted, high-quality lightweight canvas and paraffin-treated fabric, maintains its high quality. While JIS standard L3102 has been abolished, HOBI Canvas maintains its high performance by maintaining strict standards for thread composition, density, and weight. This sturdy, thick, and durable canvas, used since the Edo period, has been used for military tents, emergency stretchers, judo uniforms, and more. It's made of 100% cotton and is environmentally friendly, offering exceptional tear resistance. Despite its light weight, it can be used ruggedly, even when wrapped around a pile of firewood and lifted. A special paraffin (wax-soaked) treatment provides excellent waterproofing, and the sheet develops a vintage look with age. This sheet is ideal for a variety of outdoor activities and locations, including camping and solo activities.
⛺Feature 2: Four eyelets ● The sheet is designed with four corners, allowing it to be used to secure the sheet or as a tent. Depending on the weather and location, you can create a private sheet, windbreak, or sandproof cover by passing commercially available poles or branches through the eyelets. The thick eyelets, with a diameter of 2.2 cm, allow you to hammer in pegs without any effort, and they will not bend or stretch even with heavy use. By using rope, etc., it can also be used as a tarp, taking advantage of its 100 cm width.
⛺Feature 3: Highly water-repellent paraffin processing ● By dipping dyed, high-quality Japanese canvas in wax, a large amount of wax can penetrate deep into the fabric and into its gaps. This allows the paraffin processing to create a smooth, pleasant-to-the-touch yet durable and long-lasting texture, a unique feature (if only the surface is waxed, it will be hard and brittle, and the wax will easily come off). High-quality canvas and the meticulous, delicate paraffin processing that only Japanese craftsmen can provide form the basis of the Third Generation Survive Sheet. It combines high-water repellency that can withstand rain and splashes with a texture (vintage feel) that develops with use. [The pleasant-to-the-touch fabric makes it comfortable for children to sit and lie on.]
⛺Feature 4: Ultra-lightweight 200x200cm size. The 200cm width provides ample space, making it ideal for a variety of uses and locations (ground use, storage, tarp, rain/wind/sand protection, dew cover, etc.) (Note: Dimensions may vary slightly depending on climate, humidity, and finish.) While thinner than a Survive Sheet, it won't tear even when laid on dirt or uneven ground, and the contact area with your body is less likely to cause pain. Its lightweight design is ideal for campers on foot, and when folded, it measures approximately 27x27cm and weighs 1620g, making it easy to store in a backpack. It can also be folded to serve as a cushion, making it a versatile, multi-purpose sheet. Enjoy the unique texture of the third-generation Survive Sheet.
