Gentosha's Easiest First Go Set, Board Game, Go, Ages 5 and Up

This introductory set is for players new to Go. The front of the board is a 7x7 7x7 board, while the back is a stepped-up 9x9 board. It's easy to start, even children can play! Once you've learned the rules on the small board with pictures, you can move on to a simple, larger board!

The black and white Go stones represent horses, and the Go board represents a field of carrots. Players alternate between placing black and white horses to surround the carrots on the field. Points are awarded based on the number of horses you capture by blocking your opponent's path and the number of carrots you surround with your horses. The player with the most points wins!
