[How to install the cartridge] The Kuretake Bimoji Kanbiou Extra Fine is a cartridge-type brush pen, making ink replacement easy. You can enjoy the effect of smudging or bleeding by adjusting the brush tip and ink volume to your liking. Please follow the steps below carefully to install the cartridge. 1. Disassemble the pen Gently twist or pull to separate the nib (brush tip) side from the barrel (handle side). Be careful not to apply too much force. 2. Prepare the cartridge Remove the new cartridge and remove any seal or protective cap from the tip. Depending on the manufacturer and model, there may be a cap-like part. 3. Install the cartridge There is a cartridge slot at the back of the nib unit. Align the tip of the cartridge with the hole and insert it straight in slowly. You will hear a light "click" when it is in place.
4. Reattach the pen barrel. After installing the cartridge, return the barrel (the grip side) to its original position and snap it into place. 5. Allow the ink to settle. Hold the pen with the nib pointing downwards and leave it still for a few seconds. Wait for the ink to spread to the tip of the nib. If the ink doesn't flow immediately, lightly touch the tip of the nib to a piece of scrap paper and gently test it to ensure smooth ink flow.
