Pit-Road 1/700 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Destroyer FFM-5 Yahagi Plastic Model Kit J110 (Ship)

The Pit-Road 1/700 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer FFM-5 Yahagi plastic model kit (J110 30FFM) is a model of the Mogami-class multi-functional mine warfare frigate, equipped with mine warfare sonar, autonomous underwater mine detectors (UUVs), and unmanned surface aerial vehicles (USVs) for mine clearance. It is a state-of-the-art destroyer specializing in mine countermeasures against advanced mines. With improved stealth capabilities in mind, most of the equipment is installed on the inside of the sloping sides of the hull, and it has a distinctive appearance that sets it apart from previous destroyers, with a unicorn-shaped composite antenna and a pyramidal mast equipped with multi-functional radars on all four sides. The fifth ship, Yahagi, entered service in May 2024, and the sixth ship, Agano, entered service in June, both belonging to the 14th Destroyer Division at Maizuru Base.
