This kit contains a tube of liquid mycelium of Black Trumpets ( Craterellus cornucopioides ), product under optimal sterility conditions. The mycelium is ready to be diluted in a sugary water solution to start the culture.
Trumpets of the Dead thrive in symbiosis with trees such as :

They prefer rich and heavy soils (for example, clayey), very humid, with moderate sun exposure.

Growing instructions
Preparing the sugar water mixture :
Use bottled mineral water to minimize the presence of chlorine.
Add about 10% apple or lemon syrup without preservatives (glucose/fructose).
Mix the contents of the mycelium tube at a rate of 15 ml per 1.5 liter bottle or 50 ml per 5 liter bottle.
Shake gently to distribute the mycelium well.
Development of mycelium :
Place the mixture in a dark room at a stable temperature of at least 20°C.
Let it rest for 4 to 5 days until the mycelium filaments develop and the liquid becomes cloudy.
Soil inoculation :
Dig holes or furrows about 20 cm deep near the target trees.
Fill the holes with a mixture of leaf compost, wood, straw, or humus.
Spread the mycelium mixture over the substrate, then add a thin layer of mulch to preserve moisture.
Environmental conditions :
Humidity : Maintain high humidity, particularly during dry periods.
Temperature : Maintain a climate between 10°C and 25°C.
Exposure : Favor semi-shaded or shaded areas.
Seasonality and harvest
Inoculation : Spring or early autumn, when the climatic conditions are mild and humid.
Expected fruiting : Trumpets of the Dead usually appear from August to November, about 2 to 3 years after inoculation.
